Insurance Defense Associate / First Party Property Defense
Zumpano Castro, PLLC has an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney to join our firm. Minimum 1 year of litigation experience in Florida, preferably in the insurance defense field. Part of that experience requirement may be satisfied as a law clerk or similar position. Join an energized multiple-office firm that seeks to add to its expanding insurance defense division with an immediate need to hire the right candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
The position requires the ability to adhere to deadlines, multi-tasking and handling a high volume of cases. The candidate must be detail oriented, self-motivated and a self-starter. Court appearances and taking of depositions will be required.

- Enthusiasm for the work is the key to both being successful and enjoyment of the position.
- Must understand legal billing guidelines and contemporaneous time recording.
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Must be adept in legal research and writing.
