Attorney | Real Estate (2+ Years of Experience)

Our strategically growing Corporate Department is seeking to hire a skilled attorney to join our dynamic Real Estate practice team. Whether our clients’ objectives involve large-scale real estate development and financing projects or routine commercial or residential property transactions, we work diligently to structure each transaction in a way that minimizes risk and maximizes tangible benefits for our clients.

Who we want:
We are seeking a Real Estate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join our team in the corporate practice. The ideal candidate will have experience advising clients on various aspects of real estate law, including development, financing, purchases, sales, and leases of commercial and residential properties. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-profile transactions in a supportive and collaborative environment.

• Represent buyers, sellers, developers, landlords, and tenants in transactions involving all sizes and types of commercial, industrial, office, and retail properties
• Provide legal counsel to clients on real estate matters, including purchases, sales, leases, and development projects.
• Structure and negotiate real estate transactions to minimize risk and maximize client benefits.
• Draft, review, and revise contracts, leases, and other transactional documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including other attorneys and corporate departments, to ensure seamless transaction execution.
• Advise clients on real estate financing, zoning, land use, and regulatory issues.
• Perform and coordinate due diligence in the acquisition and financing of real estate for investment, development, occupancy, sales, leasing, and collateralization

What you need:

• At least 2 years of experience practicing real estate law, with a focus on corporate or commercial real estate.
• Applicants must currently be licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Nebraska.
• Excellent academic and professional credentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and concisely.
• Ability to examine and analyze cases and documents for inherent legal risks.
• Effective analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
