Job Description

 Our client, a well-respected firm focused on complex business disputes, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have 2–7 years of experience and be ready to take an active role in managing a dynamic caseload.

This role offers hands-on litigation experience, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting legal documents including motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery

  • Conducting legal research and developing case strategies

  • Preparing and responding to written discovery requests

  • Managing all aspects of electronic discovery (e.g., document production and review)

  • Supporting deposition preparation and second-chairing trials

  • Working closely with partners on high-stakes commercial litigation matters

Requirements:

  • 2–7 years of experience in commercial litigation

  • Licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves):

  • Licensed in Delaware and/or New York

  • Experience handling complex discovery and ESI (electronically stored information)

  • Strong writing and analytical skills with minimal need for revision
