Litigation Paralegal – Columbia, SCHutchens Law Firm Hutchens Law Firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our Columbia, South Carolina office. Position Overview As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting all phases of litigation, from case management through resolution. You will work closely with attorneys and team members to ensure cases move efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain case files from inception through resolution Perform legal transcription and dictation Assist with discovery, pleadings, and document preparation Download, track, and manage court filings Draft and manage correspondence with clients and third parties Enter attorney time and assist with fee approvals Support additional administrative and legal tasks as needed across departments Qualifications Required: Minimum of 2 years of litigation paralegal experience Ability to support a fast-paced, high-performing attorney Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with state and federal e-filing systems Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal documents Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred: Paralegal certificate Our Culture At Hutchens Law Firm, we foster a professional, collaborative, and results-driven environment.
