About The Role:

  • As a Corporate Paralegal you will provide support and report to the Commercial Counsel. You’ll collaborate with the Commercial Counsel to support sales, finance, marketing, and privacy issues on commercial contract matters. You'll handle RFPs and customer contracts that are vital to our operations, coordinating agreements to ensure efficient and accurate contract negotiation, execution, and management. We are looking for a candidate with strong communication and interpersonal skills who is eager to help build our legal function from the ground up. What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Counsel to build and coordinate the contract process between the Sales, RFP, and Legal team. 
  • Streamline the initial triage of all contract requests by ensuring contract requests are properly scoped, include historical documents, and have clear turnaround times communicated. 
  • Creates and manages legal ticketing system, contract repository, and ensures accurate and up-to-date records. 
  • Assists with legal research and document preparation as needed. 
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues across various departments as well as external vendors and customers. 
  • Perform the initial review, revision, and drafting of a variety of commercial contracts/agreements (e.g. Data Privacy Agreements, Request for Proposal, Privacy Questionnaires, Non- disclosure Agreements, Vendor Agreements). 

What We Are Looking For: 

  • Experience working with an in-house legal team as a contracts specialist/administrator or paralegal.  
  • Experience managing a high volume of contract transactions for a technology company. 
  • Keen to make an immediate contribution to a legal team and enthusiastic about establishing a legal function. 
  • A passion to help LINQ achieve its mission: To empower K‑12 leaders to bring strength and stability to every school in America. 

What Will Make You Stand Out: 

Education/Certification: 

Bachelor’s degree (required)  

Paralegal certification (preferred)  

Job Knowledge/Minimum Work Experience  

  • 3-5+ years as a contracts specialist/administrator or paralegal. 

Computer/Technical Skills: 

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications 
  • Experience managing a Contract Management System  
  • Preferred: Experience in creating a Contract Management System (e.g. building workflows, identifying key stakeholders, etc.)
