The Administrative Legal Assistant reports directly to specific Attorneys and Partners and works with the Legal Team to ensure a smooth workflow for the Attorneys that they support. This position supports the firm by performing necessary administrative tasks on a daily basis. We are looking to add an Administrative Legal Assistant to our Denver team; remote candidates will be considered, with a preference given to qualified local candidates.
Administrative Legal Assistant Responsibilities:
- Supporting assigned Attorneys and Partners with administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
- Communicating with clients to connect them to attorneys as appropriate
- Scheduling meetings with clients, colleagues, and other team members
- Drafting and sending documents, including service contracts
- Collaborating with legal and accounting teams to initiate new cases
- Updating the firm's CRM platform consistently when taking any action related to a case
- Coordinating with multiple teams to monitor progress of shared projects
- Creating and running reports in the firm's CRM for attorneys use in client and case management
- Working on special administrative projects, including presentations, as directed by the Attorneys
- Performing thorough and accurate document management and data entry
- Tending to other projects, including possible casework, as directed by a Partner and based on the needs of the firm
Administrative Legal Assistant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with good academic record
- At least 2 years of administrative experience required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially relating to email communication in a professional work environment
- Ability to implement and maintain organizational systems consistently
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Fast learner
