
Litigation Paralegal - Raleigh

We are seeking a full-time, team-oriented non-exempt litigation paralegal with at least five years of experience in handling and managing complex cases. Candidate must be proficient in document drafting and experienced in both State and Federal Court procedures and electronic filings. Experience in State and Federal Court procedures, electronic filings, and trial preparation are preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise initiative in problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions in absence of clear instructions.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required to handle large volumes of work associated with each case and transaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Willingness to quickly learn litigation-specific skills, including State and Federal court procedures and electronic filings.
- 5+ years experience in a law firm or similar professional environment.
- Commercial litigation experience
- Knowledge of both State and Federal Court procedures, and electronic filings.
- Knowledge of Interwoven/FileSite or comparable document sharing software.
- Trial preparation skills and experience.
- Knowledge of Aderant or similar time-keeping software.
- Working knowledge of e-discovery products and procedures.
- Ability to read and understand legal terminology.
