Responsibilities
- Provides professional, secretarial, and clerical support to the Estate Planning and Probate Team
- Filing, mailing, and scanning
- Data entry of client information
- Researches and verifies addresses, locations, and documents
- Answers phones, appropriately responds to requests or inquiries
- Serves as a support resource to other offices as needed
- Strategize with the attorney as to implementing the most effective plan of action to move a case from the beginning to its conclusion successfully
- Willingness to problem-solve and ability to research various judges’ rules and requirements
- Ability to prepare rough drafts of motions, proposed orders, etc., which the attorney will finalize.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with WealthCounsel and/or Westlaw Form Builder (or similar).
- Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred.
- Typing speed: 60–100 WPM required.
