Minimum qualifications:
- JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
- Experience with commercial agreements, digital licensing agreements, agreements or support of multi-territorial licensing entities.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with digital music licensing agreements.
- Ability to travel as needed.

The Music Publishing team is responsible for commercial and product issues related to Publishing, PROs, Rights Management (e.g., Infrastructure, Payments, Reporting), Collection Societies, and Regulator/Statutory Support.

- Respond promptly to legal requests from business development, sales, licensing, product, marketing, and other business clients.
- Advise product team clients, as well as finance and other company departments on legal issues and risks, regulatory matters, complex agreement structures, approval processes, company policies and procedures, intellectual property and, agreement strategy.
- Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes.
