Job Description

Brown & Joseph is seeking a Litigation Coordinator/Skip Tracer as we continue to grow our team. The Litigation Coordinator works independently and with other Brown & Joseph staff to review and investigate cases to determine if litigation is a viable option for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Uphold strict client confidentiality protocols
  • Use public information and private databases to investigate entities and individuals (such as current status of the business, reviewing credit reports for financial and legal information, review case notes, etc)
  • Provide detailed write-ups for clients regarding the viability of pursuing litigation
  • Serve as a back-up for other investigation and litigation staff as needed
Job Requirements:  
  • Preferred knowledge of the civil legal process, commercial collections, and/or investigations
  • Preferred experience using Experian, TLO, or similar services
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the urgency required to maximize recoveries
  • Good computer skills; strong customer service experience
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, work proactively, and be resourceful
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse personalities and a strong client focus; self-starter with a desire to grow/learn.
  • Hybrid position
Compensation and Benefits:  
  • $16-18 per hour
