Langan is seeking a Legal Intern to join its collaborative team at its headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will directly assist Langan’s Legal Team and serve a key role in helping with a broad range of legal, risk, contracting, and compliance matters. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a diverse array of firm-wide legal needs in an environment that offers the progressive challenges of an ever-changing landscape.
- Review professional services agreements and other commercial contracts;
- Support the Legal Team with claims and litigation;
- Update claims and litigation reports;
- Assist with the management of subpoenas received by the firm; and
- Perform other duties as required.
- Student currently pursuing a Juris Doctor degree;
- Undergraduate engineering or construction management degree preferred;
- Exceptional organization and prioritization skills;
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; and
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
