About the Opportunity

As a Paralegal specializing in Construction Defects, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing cases from inception to resolution, conducting in-depth legal research, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and providing essential support during trial proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will assist attorneys in managing construction defect cases, ensuring all documentation is meticulously prepared and filed. Your expertise in legal research will support case strategies, while your strong communication skills will facilitate effective interactions with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Additionally, you will coordinate witness schedules, prepare exhibits, and ensure compliance with all legal standards and firm policies.



Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field and possess a minimum of five years of experience as a Paralegal in construction defect or a closely related legal area. A strong understanding of construction law and legal procedures is essential, along with exceptional research, writing, and communication skills. Proficiency in legal software and the Microsoft Office Suite is required, as is the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
