Position overview

As a Paralegal with our client’s esteemed law firm, you will be integral to the efficiency and success of the legal team. This position offers the chance to work on a diverse array of cases, providing comprehensive support to attorneys and ensuring meticulous management of legal processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on case law, statutes, regulations, and legal articles to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft, revise, and organize legal documents such as briefs, motions, subpoenas, and contracts with precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain and update case files, ensuring all documentation is current and easily accessible for the legal team.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and facilitate case progress.
  • Assist in preparing for trials and hearings by organizing exhibits, coordinating schedules, and managing logistical details.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of legal documents with courts and regulatory bodies, adhering to all procedural requirements.
  • Oversee attorneys’ schedules, track important deadlines, and manage timelines to ensure all legal obligations are met.
  • Utilize legal software and databases to streamline case management and enhance overall productivity.


Requirements
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field
  • Paralegal certification is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal within a law firm
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
