OFFICE OF THE COMMONWEALTH’S ATTORNEY FOR CAMPBELL COUNTY
The office is accepting applications for the position of Director of the Victim-Witness Program. The position is responsible for providing services in accordance with the Crime Victim and Witness Rights Act. The position is responsible for the supervision and training of assistant victim-witness advocates. Other duties include: preparation and monitoring of the grant that funds the program; preparing quarterly other time sensitive reports; developing and maintaining cooperative agreements with statutorily required agencies; working directly with victims and witnesses to crimes; conducting purchase orders for the administration of the program. Applicants should have a working knowledge of the criminal justice system, have prior experience in the field or have prior grant administration experience in another field. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Ability to handle stressful and sensitive matters. This is a grant funded position but has full county benefits as well as VRS retirement.
Salary range is 55,000 to 70,000 DOE
