Responsibilities

  • Provide Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on various topics, including case law, statutes, and regulations, to support the legal team's decision-making processes and case preparation.
  • Document Review: Assist in the review and organization of legal documents, contracts, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Drafting Documents: Help draft legal documents, including memos, briefs, and contracts, under the supervision of attorneys, while adhering to legal conventions and formatting.
  • Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts and administrative bodies, ensuring timely submission and compliance with procedural requirements.
  • Client Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with internal clients, witnesses, and external parties, as needed, to gather information and facilitate case management.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team by scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and performing other organizational tasks as required.

What we are looking for:

  • 2nd or 3rd year law student with solid academic record
  • Currently enrolled in a law school program or a recent law school graduate.
  • Strong academic record with a focus on relevant coursework, such as contracts, legal research,   and writing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of legal procedures and terminology is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic legal environment.
  • Ability to commit to 40 hours per week.
