Responsibilities
- Provide Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on various topics, including case law, statutes, and regulations, to support the legal team's decision-making processes and case preparation.
- Document Review: Assist in the review and organization of legal documents, contracts, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards and guidelines.
- Drafting Documents: Help draft legal documents, including memos, briefs, and contracts, under the supervision of attorneys, while adhering to legal conventions and formatting.
- Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts and administrative bodies, ensuring timely submission and compliance with procedural requirements.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with internal clients, witnesses, and external parties, as needed, to gather information and facilitate case management.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team by scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and performing other organizational tasks as required.
What we are looking for:
- 2nd or 3rd year law student with solid academic record
- Currently enrolled in a law school program or a recent law school graduate.
- Strong academic record with a focus on relevant coursework, such as contracts, legal research, and writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of legal procedures and terminology is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic legal environment.
- Ability to commit to 40 hours per week.
