Litigation Associate Attorney – Real Estate Law

Join our growing and dynamic real estate law firm in Wisconsin as a Litigation Associate Attorney. As a part of our team, you will handle a wide range of cases, including property restrictions enforcement, contract disputes, construction defects, and other real estate matters. This role offers significant client interaction and opportunities for public speaking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in real estate litigation, including matters involving property restrictions, contracts, construction defects, and more.
- Engage in all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing witnesses, taking and defending depositions, and managing trials and appeals.
- Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular updates on case progress.
- Chair client meetings and manage electronic task lists, including billing.
- Work independently on a diverse caseload while managing administrative staff.
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients in various legal matters.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must be admitted to practice law in Wisconsin.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably in real estate, corporate law, contract law, or litigation for governmental entities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a heavy caseload and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft operating systems and advanced legal software.
- Strong personal skills, including the ability to build relationships and manage client expectations.
- Availability for client meetings during business hours, with occasional evenings and weekends required.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in real estate law, including handling cases involving HOAs, land disputes, construction issues, or nursing home-related actions.
- Strong litigation skills across all phases of a case, from initial filing to trial and appeal.
