Our client is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Associate to join their Chicago office. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to engage in all stages of commercial, civil, and business litigation with a broad, national, and international client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in various phases of complex commercial litigation, including consumer and privacy class actions, white-collar defence, and multi-district or multi-forum cases.
- Manage the litigation process, with a focus on discovery, e-discovery, and litigation procedures.
- Contribute to case strategy, preparation of legal documents, and participation in depositions, hearings, and oral arguments.
Qualifications:
- At least three years of litigation experience in a law firm, particularly with complex litigation.
- Expertise in litigation procedures and discovery processes, including e-discovery.
- Prior experience in depositions, hearings, or oral arguments is a plus.
- Excellent academic background with strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois or the ability to gain licensure within a reasonable time frame.
