In-House General Counsel

Industrial Access is a multi-craft services provider specializing in limited access' solutions. We help our clients maintain hard-to-reach stacks, ductwork, vessels, cooling towers and other structures, utilizing rope access and other high-elevation work techniques. We regularly work with concrete, masonry, steel and fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), and carbon fiber for the power generation, pulp and paper, cement, heavy industrial and manufacturing sectors. We are seeking an experienced In-House Counsel with 3-5 years of legal practice to join our team. The person will play a pivotal role in handling all legal matters and ensuring legal compliance within our organization. This is a hybrid position that requires work on site at our office in Cumming, GA approximately one day per week.

Job Description:

As the In-House Counsel at Industrial Access, you will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and guidance to our company. We are seeking a professional with a solid foundation in legal practice, a deep understanding of legal matters, and a track record of impeccable performance. This position is pivotal in safeguarding our legal interests and ensuring the organization's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Legal Advisory: Offer comprehensive legal advice and solutions to all aspects of the business, including contract negotiations, employment law, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess potential legal risks and provide proactive strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Compliance: Ensure the company's adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve legal disputes, including litigation matters when necessary.
• Policy Development: Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
• Impeccable References: Maintain a network of trusted legal professionals and resources.
• Background Checks: Coordinate extensive background checks for employees and contractors as required.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as in-house counsel.
• Exceptional legal acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
• Impeccable references from previous positions and colleagues.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload with precision and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Experience within B2B and/or Industrial/Commercial construction industries.
• Experience in handling industrial or construction-related legal matters.

License/Certification:

• Juris Doctor (Required)
• Active Bar License (Required)
