Job Description:  


Provide support and assistance to the Director of Legal Services with day-to-day administrative tasks. This position is part time up to 19 hours per week. Flexible, but consistent schedule. 


 Job Duties:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of client matters and files.
  • Open and close case files, send out client surveys and assist the Program Director in maintaining case records.
  • Assist the Program Director with conducting telephone communications and check files as needed.
  • Assist the Program Director in the preparation of the Monthly Status Reports and other Legal Services Program reports.
  • General administrative responsibilities, including, but not limited to: answering telephones, screening potential clients, maintaining program database, retrieval of files, copying, scanning, typing and mailing of correspondence.

                                                                

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma and equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility and creativity.
  • Prior experience in a office environment preferred but not required.

 

Related Job Requirements:  Occasional Travel as required.
