Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, maintain a calm demeanor in high pressure situations, have critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and an interest/experience in the field.
What you’ll do:
Legal research as it relates to assisted reproductive technology as well as areas of law impacting assisted reproductive technology and intended parent, surrogate, donor relationships.
Draft Contracts. Experience in gestational surrogacy or egg donation contracts preferred, but not a requirement.
Manage a caseload of Intended Parents independently from initial sign on through delivery and return home.
Work directly with clients and third parties, such as IVF Clinics and outside attorneys, as well as internal team members, such as social workers, program coordinators, and trust accountants.
Ability to manage high email volume and to prioritize important communications and respond within forty-eight (48) business hours.
Additional duties as assigned, such as helping other teams with various projects, trainings, and helping with insurance reviews and appeals.
What you’ll need to succeed:

Juris Doctorate and license to practice law in Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, or Washington D.C.
Effective communication - communicates information clearly and adept at building trusting relationships.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience working collaboratively.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where you can consistently meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize your daily tasks and assignments and pivot when urgent matters arise.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
