The Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting our legal and leasing operations. This position is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing retail lease agreements, amendments, and related documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail lease structures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and revise retail lease documents, including LOIs, leases, amendments, assignments, estoppels, and SNDA agreements
  • Maintain and manage lease tracking systems and legal databases
  • Coordinate with leasing, property management, and legal teams to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions
  • Monitor critical lease dates and ensure timely action (renewals, options, rent commencement, etc.)
  • Prepare lease abstracts and summaries for internal stakeholders
  • Communicate with tenants, brokers, and outside counsel as needed
  • Research and interpret lease clauses, legal statutes, and case law when necessary
  • Ensure all executed lease documents are properly filed and recorded

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of paralegal experience with a focus on retail leasing
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate leasing terms and practices
  • Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certification required
  • Experience with lease administration software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion

Salary
  • $65,000 - $85,000
