Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney Location: Must live on Long Island, NY Area New York Law Firm with decades of experience representing injured clients and their families in Personal Injury, Catastrophic injury, Medical Malpractice, Workers' Compensation, Mass Tort, and more is searching for a talented Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Attorney to join their Long Island Office. About the Client: The firm has an exceptional record of success, securing over $500 million in verdicts and settlements for clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Case Evaluation & Client Consultation:
- Conduct client meetings to assess potential cases.
- Provide expert legal advice and outline strategic actions.
- Legal Research & Case Preparation:
- Investigate accident reports, medical records, and witness statements.
- Collaborate with medical experts, accident reconstruction specialists, and other relevant professionals.
- Build compelling, evidence-based cases.
- Negotiation & Settlement:
- Engage in negotiations with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Strive for optimal settlements prior to trial.
- Litigation & Court Representation:
- Draft critical legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
- Advocate effectively for clients during hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Present compelling arguments and skillfully examine witnesses.
- Client Communication & Case Management:
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients regarding case updates and strategy.
- Efficiently manage multiple active cases to ensure all deadlines and objectives are met.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in New York.
- Previous experience in plaintiff-side personal injury law
