PJI Law, PLC, a boutique law firm in Fairfax, Virginia, is growing and has a new full-time opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal. This position will be assisting our fiduciary litigation team with disputed trust and estate litigation - prior experience in that specific area is preferred, but not required, and we are happy to train an applicant with civil litigation experience in other practice areas.
Your duties as paralegal would be to help manage client relations and provide case-related support, including the preparation of pleadings, documents, and court filings, assistance with discovery, and communication with vendors, among other traditional paralegal responsibilities. Our firm exists to help those who wish to plan for the legal protection and security of their families and businesses, sometimes in the wake of a personal or professional loss, and this position is crucial in allowing us to effectively help them.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of three years of experience in civil litigation and in Virginia Circuit Court and General District Court procedures. The ideal candidate would also be experienced in effective communication with clients, colleagues, court staff, and vendors such as process servers and court reporters. This position requires a person who is kind, self-driven, detail-oriented, highly organized, a team player, able to effectively delegate work to and supervise legal assistants, and who has exacting standards for their work product.

Compensation includes a base hourly wage and productivity bonuses which together would be in the range of $75,000 to $80,000 after bonus payments.
