
The essential function of the position within the organization is to direct and manage court operations and court services. This position is responsible for supervising staff, planning and integrating multiple administrative functions and operational best practices into court programs. Additional responsibilities include managing and overseeing due process (e.g., court reporting and interpreting services), adjudicatory support services, facility management and planning including leading continuity of operations activities and capital projects, managing property inventory control, and coordinating procurement of furniture and equipment. The position develops and implements programs within organizational policies and reports major activities to the Chief Deputy Court Administrator through conferences and reports.
Salary- $98,488.20/year
Education – Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, finance, accounting, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended education on a year-for-year basis.
Experience – Six years of related work experience, including three years in a supervisory or managerial capacity, and a working knowledge of business operations of the State Courts System. A Master’s degree in an area cited above may substitute for two years of the recommended non-management experience. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school may substitute for three years of the recommended non-management experience. Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis.
Certification and Special Requirements –Valid Florida State Driver’s License required.
