Paralegal - Government Contractor

Intelligence Federal is a fast-growing government contracting company that is seeking a Paralegal to support a government agency in the Government Center area of Boston. The ideal candidate will be professional and attentive to the agency client’s needs.

Location: Onsite. Hybrid work may become available after the initial period, depending on agency policy.

JOB DUTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Assist in the review, organization, and preparation of legal documents such as Answers, Motions for Extensions, and other pleadings.
  • Responsible for docketing utilizing electronic management systems.
  • Collect, compile, or extract case-related data and information and prepare management information reports.
  • Review, complete, and/or correct files concerning matters associated with litigation
  • Provide support to agency attorneys
  • Track case related information in agency data systems
  • Assist with general administrative office tasks as assigned

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen.

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS, & SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Minimum of three (3) years of Paralegal/Legal Secretary experience required.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or an Associates Degree + Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred
  • Must have knowledge of legal principles, statutes, regulations, and federal rules that apply to litigation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work as a team player in a professional environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
