Description:
We are seeking a Client Funds Specialist to join our team. The Client Funds Specialist will be responsible for managing the firm’s client funds money to comply with various state bar rules and firm policies. The Client Funds Specialist position is currently a hybrid role with designated days required to be in the office, which may change depending on future needs of the Firm or industry standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with bank transactions, including deposits and disbursements. Ensure that deposits are recorded to the appropriate client matter and that disbursements have appropriate supporting documentation and approvals.
- Set up vendors to meet IRS criteria.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage Trust Accounts to comply with state regulations and firm policies.
- Store and file records of transactions.
- Special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Strong verbal, mathematical, written, and analytical skills.
- Excellent organization skills and sense of urgency to requests. Adaptable to changing priorities and work demands.
- Knowledge of MS Office 2013 Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work will under pressure.
- High ability to work independently as well as with others in a team setting.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelors of Finance, Accounting, Math, or Economics Degree.
