Position Title: Senior Counsel
Reports To: Partner
CMBG3’s National Coordinating Counsel Department is seeking an attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a National or Regional Counsel capacity. As a member of our NCC Department, you will be responsible for assisting with overseeing trial strategy, managing local counsel, developing legal defenses, and implementing a national strategy to ensure the best, most cost-effective outcomes on behalf of our clients. We are seeking someone who is detail oriented, has exceptional organizational skills, is a self-starter, and is able to manage a large number of cases and communicate effectively.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and 7 + years of litigation or regulatory experience, admittance to bar and be in good standing in all jurisdictions;
- Must have experience in all stages of litigation including trial preparation and trial and appeals (though in-court trial experience or practice of appellate law not required)
- Must have mastery of the civil rules in the jurisdictions in which one practices, and expert understanding of all principles of law routinely relied upon in firm’s primary practice areas;
- Must be able to manage cases independently and able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
- Professional collaboration with attorneys and other colleagues and manage junior employees is a must
- Superior written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
- Filevine or Document Management experience preferred
- Demonstrates personal awareness and desire for continued personal and professional development
