Paralegal, Yum! Digital & Technology
Yum! is looking for a business-oriented, bold thinker with a passion for delivering results to join our Yum! Digital & Technology (D&T) Legal Team as a Paralegal. This Paralegal will work in close collaboration across various functions and brands in the organization and, among other things, will be responsible for contract administration and document management support; contract revisions; general intake of legal matters; maintenance and management of legal and contract databases; and provision of legal support to internal stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with internal legal teams and/or external legal counsel to identify potential legal and/or business risks and provide proactive solutions.
- Communicate directly with internal business stakeholders and external vendors to prepare all forms of legal documents including master service agreements, SaaS agreements, adoption agreements, statements of work, and order forms.
- Prepare and coordinate documents for execution and maintain contract database.
- Maintain and enhance cross-functional legal tracking system.
- Conduct, coordinate and/or assist with the review of consumer-facing promotional materials.
- Management of general and time-sensitive correspondence.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3+ years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate environment
- Detail oriented with an ability to proactively manage, juggle, and prioritize multiple projects and competing deadlines and resolve critical issues in real time.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience on a digital and technology team preferred
- Familiarity with data privacy, AI and similar areas of the law
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively support a variety of stakeholders, both inside and outside the company.
- Team player and the ability to work with others directly and indirectly and to interrelate politely and professionally but firmly with demanding priorities and influence when needed.
- Flexibility, creativity, good judgement, enthusiasm, and diplomacy.
- Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and excellent client service skills.
- Urgency and results focus to ensure timely and appropriate response to rapidly changing situations.
Salary Range: $78,300 to $101,200 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
