
PJI Law, PLC, a boutique law firm in Fairfax, Virginia, is fast-growing and has a new full-time opportunity for a Case Coordinator. The position is as challenging as it is rewarding and is ideal for a go-getter with a strong work ethic who is looking for a position in which to grow. This position will be assisting our litigation team.
As a Case Coordinator, your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
- Serve as liaison between clients and attorneys.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new clients.
- Assist attorneys with case-related assignments and help protect their time.
- Prepare and send documents, letters, emails, and faxes.
- Assist with the preparation of discovery, pleadings, and other court filings.
- Perform notary services.
- Photocopy, scan, and organize documents into the case management system.
- Communicate with clients, co-counsel, opposing counsel, vendors, and other third parties.
- Ensure high-quality service with each interaction.
- Conduct frequent follow-ups with clients.
- Identify opportunities to maximize client satisfaction with our firm through gifting, referrals, or additional legal services.
- As a team player, you would also be prepared to support all of the firm’s other positions as necessary and to serve as backup for other team members when appropriate.
This position requires a person who is kind, self-driven, detail-oriented, highly organized, a team player and has high standards for their work product. Your willingness to perform these duties will showcase your versatility and commitment to contributing to the overall success of the team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience working in the legal field. Additionally, they should be experienced in effective communication with clients, colleagues, court personnel, and vendors.

- Familiarity with local filing procedures, particularly online filing through programs such as File and Serve Express, TrueFiling, and OCRA.
- Ability to learn new software and technology.
You would work approximately 40 working hours per week, Monday through Friday during our business hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm Eastern Time.
Compensation is in the range of $48,000 to $53,000 per year including bonus payments, with potential for further compensation growth. A significant part of the compensation will consist of an objective, metrics-driven bonus plan that gives you more control over what you can earn, and that ensures that you succeed when you help the firm succeed.
