We seek to provide unparalleled personal injury customer service and results. We are seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. Our ideal candidate offers compassions to individuals who have been injured and enjoy interacting with people and helping others. In this role you will negotiate the best possible settlement on behalf of the client and in a manner that will allow Craig Swapp & Associates to continue to grow and fulfill its mission. You must have excellent negotiation skills and be an advocate for the Firm’s clients. You must be able to effectively communicate, as well as courteous and professional with everyone you work with, especially with your clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Represents the client/firm with the liability insurance provider
  • Reviews the demand packet for accuracy and completeness
  • Establishes the criteria for the settlement demand, prepares the case and presents the demand to the liability insurance provider
  • Negotiates the settlement
  • Counsels with the COO on unusual or complex cases or when claims are denied
  • Counsels with the litigation attorney on cases that move to litigation
  • Develops, supervises case managers and legal assistants
  • Achieves a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate and licensed in the state of Idaho is mandatory. Licensed in Washington and/or Utah is a plus.
  • 1-2 years experience in personal injury law
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and collaboration skills
  • Strong reading comprehension, active listening, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Solid knowledge of the legal system: laws, legal codes, precedents, government regulations, agency rules and executive orders, as well as knowledge of liability insurance practices and systems
  • Ability to develop trust in constituents and staff
  • Enjoy helping and interacting with people
  • Likes working in a fast-paced environment
  • Are driven and take pride in your work

  • $100,000 - $300,000
