Qualifications
The intern will assist in managing day-to-day employment, HR, and legal-related issues as they arise in the course of business. Responsibilities include:
- Compiling data and tracking trends
- Analyzing potential risks
- Reviewing policies for compliance
- Making recommendations based on review findings
Additionally, the intern will be responsible for updating the AHS Risk Management Compass page. This involves:
- Collaborating with the AHS Risk team to determine content.
- Ensuring information is up-to-date and accurate.
The intern will work collaboratively with the AHS Risk team, including members from claims, insurance, policies, risk management, and HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing employment, HR, and legal issues.
- Compile and analyze data, track trends, and assess risks.
- Review and ensure compliance of policies.
- Update and maintain the AHS Risk Management Compass page.
- Collaborate with the AHS Risk team to ensure accurate and current content.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
- Be in good academic standing
- Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
- Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2025 - August 2025
- Currently pursuing a degree in Risk Management, Legal Studies, Human Resources, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
