Job Description

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for driving sales in their designated territory by developing and executing a sales strategy. This role involves identifying and qualifying leads, presenting MaxVal’s suite of IP products and services, and closing business on a monthly/quarterly basis to meet or exceed annual sales quotas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS sales and legal sales experience, with the ability to build relationships, demonstrate product solutions, and manage the sales pipeline from start to finish. This is a remote role, and candidates can work from anywhere in the U.S.

Job Responsibility:

  • Sales Quota Achievement:
    Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Prospecting and Lead Qualification:
    Skilled in prospecting, deal qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
    Develop and implement a sales strategy specific to the territory to drive growth and new revenue.
  • New Business Development:
    Focus on developing new revenue streams with little to no recurring revenue responsibility.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Foster strong relationships with prospects and customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Product and Market Education:
    Continuously educate yourself and the team on products and market trends to stay competitive.
  • Professional Interaction:
    Engage with senior staff at Global 2000 companies and collaborate with other MaxVal team members.

Requirements

Experience:

    • A minimum of 5+ years of SaaS sales experience, with legal sales experience being a must.
    • Proven track record of consistent quota attainment or over-achievement.
    • Successful experience in solution selling to Global 2000 companies.
    • Experience in closing complex deals and delivering product demonstrations.
    • Ability to close deals over $100k.
  • Skills:

    • Excellent writing, presentation, and demonstration skills.
    • Strong ability to present and communicate technical solutions clearly and concisely.
    • Understanding of business concepts and how technology solutions resolve customer pain or create opportunities.
  • Education:

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Character Traits:

    • Passionate and energetic about selling technology solutions.
