A highly regarded law firm in the Agoura Hills, CA area is seeking an family law attorney to work full-time in their beautiful office setting. The ideal candidate will have some exposure to family law litigation and be prepared to handle a diverse caseload of divorce, child custody and other family law cases. This role offers a competitive compensation structure commission, along with excellent benefits and growth opportunities. Candidates must have at least 1 year of direct family law experience as an attorney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution.
- Handle all aspects of litigation, from case initiation through trial, including discovery, motions, mediation, and court appearances.
- Provide legal counsel and advocacy tailored to each client’s needs and objectives.
- Maintain clear communication and a strong attorney-client relationship.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, agreements, and court filings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 1+years in family law experience
- Licensed Attorney in California, in good standing.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy skills.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication abilities.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work both independently and as part of a team.
