Who are we looking for?

We are looking to hire an experienced legal assistant/paralegal to support our partners, associates, and assistant team. The ideal candidate would work well in a team environment, but also be very independent and a self-starter; they will be detail-oriented and able to work efficiently with very little supervision. They would also be willing to ask questions to ensure their tasks are completed to expectations and able to learn where there are growth opportunities. This role would include duties including:

  • Assisting attorneys with all aspects of litigation matters
  • Drafting legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories
  • Researching and analyzing case related information in statutes, regulations, and other legal sources
  • Maintaining and updating case files and databases
  • Preparing for trials and hearings, including organizing exhibits
  • Filing pleadings, subpoenas, and other case related documents with appropriate courts and vendors.
  • Scheduling and/or calendaring various tasks including depositions, hearings, expert inspections, etc.
  • Case matching and organizing discovery, case related mail, etc.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
