TeleSolv Consulting is seeking a Legal Support Specialist I to provide administrative and clerical support to a federal legal office. This is an entry-level legal administrative support role focused on document handling, records management, correspondence, and day-to-day office support in a highly structured government environment. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a process-driven setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to legal staff and management
- Prepare, format, proofread, and process correspondence and legal documents
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems in accordance with federal procedures
- Track documents, records, and case-related materials
- Assist with records management and document control
- Support data entry, spreadsheets, and basic database tracking
- Answer phones, route calls, and assist visitors as needed
- Schedule meetings and assist with meeting materials
- Assist with scanning, copying, organizing, and archiving documents
- Follow established procedures for handling sensitive and confidential information
- Support ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in administrative, clerical, office support, or legal support roles (or equivalent experience)
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to follow procedures and work in a structured, compliance-driven environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
