
Personal Injury Law Firm seeking a Legal Assistant. Bilingual (Spanish) is required. Possibility of advancement depending on experience and work ethic, as our company prefers to promote from within.
Personal Injury Law experience not necessary, but a plus. Previous employment in any type of law firm, insurance company, receptionist experience, customer service, or office environment is also a plus.
Compensation is competitive ($17 to $21 hourly), depending on experience and the position. Pay also includes monthly bonuses, We offer benefits to our employees including paid sick days, vacation days, paid time off, and paid Holiday days off. Other benefits include a monthly Health Insurance stipend and 401k retirement savings plan, as well as other benefits and perks.. Work hours can be flexible, as we have employees working 8-5 and 9-6. Overtime is available to our employees when needed, but not required.
Job duties include: answering phones and speaking to clients, opening new cases and insurance claims, and assisting with client’s medical treatment and property damage, as well as various other tasks, depending on what is needed.
The ideal candidate knows Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications, works well in a team environment but also independently, fast learner, punctual, can work in a fast- paced environment and multi-task, has excellent customer service skills, and a great attitude. Excellent English and Spanish speaking and writing skills are also required.
