Health Law Firm Seeks Exceptional Corporate Attorney with Transactional Experience

Company and Position Overview:
Hancock Daniel & Johnson is a nationally recognized boutique health law firm providing comprehensive legal services to healthcare clients across the United States. We are proud to be a trusted partner to organizations navigating the complexities of the healthcare industry.

As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a talented attorney to join our team with a focus on corporate transactions. The ideal candidate will bring experience in corporate law, and exposure to real estate transactions is a plus. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of matters, including healthcare-related corporate structuring, joint ventures, M&A, and transactional real estate work, in a collaborative and supportive environment.

At Hancock Daniel, you’ll find a team-oriented approach to legal practice, where collegiality and professional growth are prioritized. You’ll gain direct client interaction, access to industry-leading resources, and mentorship from seasoned attorneys dedicated to your development.

Your performance will directly impact your compensation, with a competitive salary structure and top-of-market bonus programs designed to reward excellence and provide flexibility.

Qualifications:

  • Active member in good standing of the Virginia State Bar (or eligible to waive in).
  • 1–8 years of experience in corporate transactions, with real estate experience viewed as a valuable complement.
  • Experience in healthcare-related matters is a plus but not required.
  • Strong academic credentials and professional references.
  • A self-starter with a client-focused mindset and a passion for the practice of law.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-driven, high-performance culture.

Please submit a letter of interest, resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample at www.hancockdaniel.com/careers.

Hancock Daniel is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a participant in E-Verify.
