We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager (Pre-Litigation) to join our dynamic team. This position plays a pivotal role in managing cases during the crucial pre-litigation phase, ensuring that all necessary information is collected, organized, and ready for potential litigation.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to case management, and the ability to navigate the complexities of pre-litigation processes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury claims by collecting relevant medical records, bills, and other documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather case-related information and assist them throughout the pre-litigation process.
- Coordinate with medical providers and insurance companies to obtain necessary documentation and ensure timely handling of cases.
- Prepare and submit demand packages to insurance companies, outlining the facts of the case and articulating the demands for compensation.
- Review, analyze, and summarize case materials to identify issues and potential strategies for resolution.
- Monitor case progress and deadlines, ensuring compliance with all relevant timelines.
- Assist attorneys in developing case strategies and preparing cases for potential litigation.
- Maintain organized case files and accurate records of all communications and case activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a case management role, preferably within a personal injury law firm.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on client service and relationship building.
- Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex situations.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Language: Being bilingual is a plus.
