The In-House Counsel (Onsite) will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and support to the company in various matters, including contracts, compliance, intellectual property, litigation management, employment matters, commercial matters and corporate governance. This role will collaborate with various departments to ensure that all business operations adhere to legal standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on various business matters to leadership.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to protect the company’s interests.
  • Manage matters placed with outside IP counsel, including managing communications and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry.
  • Assist in risk management by identifying potential legal issues and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support legal needs and align with business objectives.
  • Manage litigation and dispute resolution processes when necessary.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and best practices relevant to the company’s operations.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on employment matters, including contracts, disputes and benefit matters.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on legal compliance and company policies.


Requirements
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house or within a law firm focused on corporate or commercial law.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, regulatory compliance, employment law and risk management.
  • Experience with litigation management, commercial matters and corporate law.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or defense industry is a plus.
