Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA See More Job Openings by This EmployerPosition Purpose: Under general supervision, the Associate Director, Systems Analysis, will partner with various business areas, serving as a project coordinator, business analyst, tester, and mentor for staff. This role involves active participation in projects as a Business Systems Analyst and leading a team of Business Analysts to provide expertise in the analysis, configuration, and testing of business applications. The position demands a balanced proficiency in analysis, project management, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
- Provides leadership in requirements gathering and testing phases of SDLC/projects.
- Works with business leaders and internal IT Partners to ensure coordination and completion of work efforts.
- Consults with business partners to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, workflows, problems, input and output requirements, usage, formatting and security requirements.
- Analyzes business processes and user requirements to document project scope.
- Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
- Identifies program, application and system problems and resolutions.
- Creates or assists others in the writing of user documentation, instructions and procedures.
- Prepares deployment plans and manages release schedules.
- Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests.
- Plans, assigns and reviews work of other analysts.
- Develops and improve existing project execution processes to align to DevOps, Agile and waterfall efforts.
- Coach and mentors business systems analyst team.
- Solves complex business problems.
- Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.
- Additional duties as requested or required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or business administration.
- 10 years’ relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Visio and SQL
- Data analysis and Project Management skills
- Ability to lead other business analysts and develop team members in best practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to interface with cross-functional partners and senior management
- Ability to effectively and consistently execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Must have ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
- Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding goals and objectives
