As a Pre-litigation Paralegal/Case Manager, you’ll be an integral part of that client journey—working hand-in-hand with attorneys and team members to ensure that every case is handled with care, precision, and speed. You’ll not only manage case files, but also serve as a compassionate guide for our clients, helping them feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout their pre-litigation experience.
What you’ll do:
- Case Management: Oversee the progression of personal injury cases from intake through the demand phase, ensuring timely and effective handling at every stage.
- Case Coordination: Serve as the central point of contact between clients, medical providers, and attorneys to align documentation, scheduling, and case updates.
- Client Communication: Build lasting client relationships by providing regular updates, answering questions with empathy, and supporting them through each step of the legal process.
- File & Data Organization: Maintain well-organized case files and database records, ensuring easy retrieval of medical records, client communications, and legal documents.
- Medical Records & Demand Preparation: Collect and organize all medical bills and records to build a strong, comprehensive demand package. Prepare cases for attorney review and potential litigation.
- Document Drafting & Correspondence: Draft demand letters, medical summaries, provider notices, and legal correspondence with clarity and accuracy.
- Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct focused research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law to support case development and strategy.
- Comprehensive Pre-Litigation Support: Provide attorneys with seamless support on all pre-litigation matters, from client communication and records review to file preparation and deadline tracking.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of paralegal experience in personal injury, specifically in pre-litigation. Must have a strong track record of managing cases. Experience in litigation is highly advantageous.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Filevine and/or SmartAdvocate is a strong plus.
- Process-Oriented: Follows established procedures with diligence and accuracy, ensuring consistency and reliability across all tasks. Actively looks for opportunities to improve workflows without compromising quality.
- Client-Focused: Approaches every client interaction with empathy, patience, and professionalism—especially during high-stress situations. Builds trust by truly listening and responding with care and clarity.
