- Engage in pre-trial preparation, including depositions, witness interviews, and negotiations.
- Advocate for clients in court, presenting evidence and arguing motions.
- Collaborate with medical experts, clients, and other legal professionals to build strong defense cases.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and precedents relevant to medical malpractice.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Georgia.
- 2+ years of experience in medical malpractice defense
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and client confidentiality.
- Primarily in-office work environment to facilitate collaboration and mentorship.
- Standard work hours: approximately 9 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility.
