Job Description
Title: Assistant Attorney General
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Attorney General to prosecute asset forfeiture actions.
Position Summary:
The Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office investigates and prosecutes various types of criminal activity. An integral part of achieving the goal of substantially reducing crime in Oklahoma will include the seizure and forfeiture of currency, real estate, bank accounts, and other property involved in or derived from criminal activity. This position will be responsible for implementing and executing processes necessary to achieve these goals successfully, efficiently, and ethically. The ideal candidate will display good judgment, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, attorneys in the State of Oklahoma, with a minimum of two years of experience in the practice of law or have completed a minimum one-year judicial clerkship. Experience as a civil litigator or criminal prosecutor is preferred.
