Job Summary:
The Paralegal is responsible for preliminary contract review, assisting in maintaining international corporate governance and subsidiary operations in support of globalization objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research (must have familiarity with Westlaw and Lexis Nexis) and assist in maintaining legal compliance with international business registration, practices, customs, and laws/regulations.
- Interface with foreign government entities and officials as requested.
- Organize, catalog, process, and maintain legal files and information consistent with the organization’s retention policy and legal obligations.
- Assists in researching processes and procedures for the creation/implementation of legal entities outside of the United States.
- Provide support to maintain corporate governance.
- Ensure that the executive team and its designated representatives are prepared for calendar obligations, deadlines, meetings, and all other administrative tasks/projects.
- Maintain effective organizational and tracking systems for all projects and communications.
- Compile, organize, and present information.
- Provide legal support in business research, policy, and protocol projects.
- Edit and redline legal documents as needed.
- Assist with monitoring weekly Watch Reports
- Manage business processes related to contracts, corporate governance, and any other processes related to legal support.
- Has a good understanding of legal terms used in contracts and can assist in outlining new contracts that need to be written.
- Review and summarize legal inquiries that arise via email.

Requirements
- Paralegal certification required.
- 2-3 years of corporate paralegal experience in a large law firm or with an in-house legal department. Familiarity with corporate entity governance is preferred.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills – Microsoft Office and Office 365.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills – Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Pay Range
$65,000 - $70,000 USD
Compliance with all company policies, including but not limited to the company’s COVID-19 vaccination policy and testing and face covering policy, is a condition of employment. You must be able to connect to a reliable internet service to perform all job duties when working from home. Work authorization is required, and sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
This is a hybrid role, with some days remote and some days on-site (typically 2 per week) in our office at 9127 S. Jamaica St. Englewood, CO 80112. When working in the office, we follow CDC guidelines.
