A highly ranked, mid-sized law firm is seeking a commercial bankruptcy attorney to join its respected Bankruptcy & Restructuring team in Pittsburgh. Draft and negotiate forbearance agreements, restructuring plans, and related corporate documents -
Represent clients in bankruptcy court, receiverships, and commercial litigation matters -
Support creditor and borrower-side matters in business bankruptcies and workouts -
Draft motions, briefs, expert reports, mediation statements, and plan documents -
Participate in hearings, client meetings, and mediation sessions with supervision and support -
Collaborate with senior attorneys across related practice areas including finance, litigation, and real estate What You’ll Need -
JD from an accredited law school -
Active license to practice in Pennsylvania -
3–6 years of experience in bankruptcy, commercial restructuring, or foreclosure litigation -
Strong writing and legal research skills, with an eye for strategic advocacy -
Courtroom readiness and the ability to support or lead appearances as needed -
Excellent organizational and project management skills -
Commitment to collaboration, responsiveness, and client-first service Preferred Experience -
Familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems -
E-filing experience in bankruptcy and state courts -
Comfort interacting directly with commercial clients -
