Cozen O'Connor Corporation See More Job Openings by This EmployerCozen O’Connor’s Philadelphia office is seeking a Financial Associate to work within the Escrow Department, who will process the accurate and timely handling of funds for escrow-related matters.
We currently offer a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in the office, 2 days’ work from home. Come and work with one of the top 100 law firms in the country.
Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely processing of escrow/trust account related transactions including the recording of Trust receipts and the preparation of Trust disbursements
- Monitor and manage escrow and trust accounts via online banking websites
- Assist with weekly and monthly reconciliations to ensure proper handling of all trust funds
- Provide excellent customer service to the Firms’ attorneys, other staff members, clients and client representatives relating to escrow/trust account related inquires and transactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is a plus
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Outlook
- Experience in a financial or legal environment, preferably with escrow or trust accounts.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, initiative, and accuracy are a must
- Must be proactive, work well as part of a team, operate well under pressure and work well in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment
- Customer service oriented and professional demeanor required
- Flexibility to work a minimal amount of overtime when needed
The salary range for this role is $53,000-$65,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and location.
