Joye Law Firm is seeking to add a Legal Assistant to our growing Myrtle Beach office. The right candidate will be ready and able to provide world-class client service in a professional and empathetic and ethical manner to our clients. Duties and Responsibilities for this role include:
- Greeting all clients and visitors professionally and with a smile.
- Maintaining the office common areas in a neat and clean condition.
- Schedule depositions, court reporters, videographers, depositions, etc. at the direction of the Case Managers.
- Contacting providers to confirm client medical balances and lien information. Entering detailed notes into the case management system.
- Ordering SLED reports and driving records as directed by the Case Managers.
- Opening all new claims for PI/WC cases as directed by the Case Managers.
- Processing deposits using a remote deposit scanner.
- Answering the phone and directing the caller to the appropriate person.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Outlook, Case Management software and Worldox.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
