Located in the historic and vibrant Midtown neighborhood, our Atlanta office is conveniently situated right off I-85 and is just steps away from the beautiful Piedmont Park. What you would do:
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, motions, orders, and notices.
- Schedule and maintain case calendars.
- Research complex issues using Westlaw.
- Investigate legal matters including fact check, witness interviews and summarization.
- Manage document production and trial prep including notebooks, exhibits and case law cite checks.
- File pleadings, motions, and other documents.
- Review and summarize depositions, medical records, and other documents.
- Coordinate and utilize firm resources to achieve client goals (or something like this).
What you bring:
- At least 3 to 5 years of paralegal experience
- Paralegal certificate or undergraduate degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite including excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Experience in managing document production
- Experience capturing and recording billable time.
- High degree of detail and organization
- Client focus
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Drive and personal initiative
