Job Description
A Minneapolis-based, full-service law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support its busy Commercial Lending department. This role offers a challenging opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a close-knit team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
Location: Greater Minneapolis
Salary: Up to 100k
Responsibilities include:
- Handling title and survey review and coordinating revisions/finalizing with title company and surveyor.
- Drafting initial drafts of loan documents and amendments to loan documents.
- Drafting closing instruction letters.
- Reviewing due diligence including Uniform Commercial Code searches, organizational documents, and insurance certificates.
- Updating/maintaining closing checklists and monitoring due diligence sites.
- Acting as a liaison between attorneys and clients, facilitating communication and transmittal of necessary information.
Preferred Experience:
- 3+ years of real estate or lending experience, preferably in a law firm or financial institution.
- Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent legal experience preferred
