Job location\: Atlanta, Charlotte, St. Louis, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Nashville, Columbia, Detroit, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Orlando, or Miami

Job description:

The North America Office of General Counsel of Capgemini has an immediate opening for a regulatory attorney (should have 8+ years in a law firm, in-house legal department, or comparable experience).

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing legal guidance and support in a variety of regulatory matters (e.g., anti-corruption, competition, export control/sanctions, gaming, and other licensed activities).   
  • Preparing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs, including applicable policies, processes, and training.
  • Expected to follow developments in laws/regulations impacting company business.
  • Providing comprehensive guidance related to regulatory compliance, including potential impacts to our business and our service offerings.
  • Expected to work as a member of the North America regulatory legal team, interacting directly with our business and legal teams.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in preparing, implementing, and maintaining regulatory compliance programs.
  • Ability to learn new regulations and quickly become an expert in new regulatory areas.
  • High degree of independence, initiative, and decisiveness.
  • Excellent legal and social skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects (prioritizing as necessary), a strong work ethic and excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
